How's life on the Formula squad?
Anthony Dean: It's great, it’s a small emerging team and I am enjoying helping it re-grow.
The colour of your bike matches the Aussie colours. Do you have a say on the colour of your frame?
Anthony Dean: Yes, I wanted an Australian frame to match the outfit. As you can tell I love to color coordinate haha.
Is strength more important than weight on your bike??
Anthony Dean: A little of both, power to weight is also important to me! And while carbon fiber is very strong when done right.

When did you first pick up a Wiawis frame?
Mathis Ragot: Winter 2017-2018
How long did it take you to get used to it?
Mathis Ragot: I got immediately used to it. I rode carbon back in 2015 but didn’t like it, and re-tried it with Wiawis and fell in love with the bike on my first session. Did a gate pb (personal best) at the first session.

How's racing for a French company?
Jeremy Rencurel: The company is going really well, Inspyre Bicycles grew every year since 2016.
How often do you take your bike apart to thoroughly clean and grease it?
Jeremy Rencurel: I take care of my bike everytime, the bike must be clean and properly adjusted. This is necessary to me!

How long have you been riding the frame that you are currently on?
Kyle Evans: I built the Radio Quartz frame up the minute I landed in Australia for the start of the race season. Works out at about 13/14 weeks in total.

Wiawis, for those who have no clue, can you tell us a little about that brand?
Sylvain André: Leaders in the Archery market, they went to BMX late 2016. Pretty simple geometry, I was on the Redline and asked them to keep it simple.

Your bike is looking stealth. Any specific reason for that?
Rebecca Petch: I wanted to change it up from having a colour and thought having a black bike would go good with the NZ kit.

Drew Mechielsen: It’s been really awesome. I have been with Yess for 11 years now, they picked me up when I was a young amateur and have rode the wave with me through so many ups and downs. Kamren Larsen: I got picked up by Supercross in the winter of 2018, shortly after my Rookie Pro of the Year award.
Where does the number 338 come from?
Kamren Larsen: I originally wanted 99, my birth year, but that was taken. I come from a motocross

When did you get picked up by Radio Bikes?
Josh McLean: Well I actually ride for a bike shop in America called Full Tilt and the whole team runs the Radio Frames. I met Angie and Fritz Voigt in 2018, and a few months after meeting them we got to talking and came up with a plan together. I began riding for them early November 2018.
How do you like the feel and look of your bike?
Josh McLean: I’ve never been one to worry about how my bike looks. I feel like I’ve never really had a bike that has been colour coordinated until now. Considering I don’t change the size of my parts often, I guess you can say it feels pretty good. I would possibly only change something once or twice a year.
