There was a time when Dig magazine came out, when it came out. There was no schedule (maybe there was but making the deadlines wasn't always easy) and it wasn't even sure if there would be a next issue. Those were the days when BMX wasn't big, but is sure was fun. Times have changed. DIGBMX mag is on a monthly schedule now and pulling off an issue in 31 days is a tough job. 132 pages fill the Am issue which, you guessed it, is full of Amateur BMX riders. Because there are so many good riders, it's hard to get noticed. DIG helps out with their November/December book. Josh Bedford gets the cover. Josh who? exactly. Not your typical Dew Tour athlete or someone you have seen on Roadfools but there are times when the Am days are over and for Josh that time has come as he moved up to the Pro team at Mutiny. Why not? If you're the editor of a magazine and your boss likes your idea of doing a SEX ISSUE you will have an exciting job for a couple of weeks. Photo shoots, interview, research, all in the favour of a good issue. Desillusion magazine has been around for a while. It hails from France and also covers some other "Urban" sports. It costs € 3,95 and if you want to try out an issue, it might as well be the SEX issue that you're spending your money on. The cover shows a photos of the 2 BMX-ers vs. 2 Porn Stars article. Dude! Looks like they're building loads of stuff for BMX-ers over in England at the moment. This is a nice movie on a newly built BMX track in Norwich that was supported by the Barclays Spaces for Sports project. The movie interviews the local council, the riders,

A new vert ramp is being built right now in England. Or better, an INDOOR vert ramp is being built in Corby, England. Vert ace Zach Shaw fills us in on the latest development: Ok here goes then, it's 13.5ft high (11.5ft transition 2ft of Vert) 50ft wide and there will be a resi which should be a minimum of 24ft wide! The Build is going really well and we should be pretty much finished in December. 

The votes are in and have all been tallied for this years ABA/BMXer magzines Golden Crank awards. This year the ABA received more votes than ever and the voting was closer than ever. The Golden Crank Awards are voted on by the fans and are awarded at the Hall Of Fame banquet in Tulsa, Oklahoma at ABA`s host hotel, the Crowne Plaza, Wednesday November 21st at 2:00pm. 

Once a product has been designed it takes a little while before it’s packaged and on the shelve of your local bike shop. Prototyping, tooling, manufacturing, shipping and testing, it’s all part of the production process. Team riders and their friends usually take care of the final testing of a newly designed product so you might take a closer look at the team riders’ bikes next time you see them. It might just have some unknown parts on it.

Piers Leigh is trying to organise a campaign to get a skatepark built in one of his local parks. He created a website that has a petition for local people to register their interest, a campaign to choose local kids as campaign representatives, a discussion forum and a residents' comments link.
