When Sikharin Supanmart (GER) realised that he wasn't going to score a podium spot, he sent it over the rail with a 360 to land in the lake. The crowd loved that very much. Sasha Cambon (FRA) had a good third run to score 76.00 points for 7th overall. Keep an eye out for this youngster (16), he was Best Trick at Simple Session earlier this year and will keep on grinding to the top. Dean Florian would have ended up higher in the ranking if all 3 runs would count. He had no bad one and showed his consistency for 6th. Jude Jones tried hard to better his first run score of 84.00 points but when you have to push hard, it's easier to make mistakes. Run 2 and 3 were a wash but the intention for more was certainly there from the Brit. Tom Justice (GBR) did everything he wanted to do in his first run and was in the top 3 for a long time after that. Tom's riding is unique with clicked variations, lip tricks, a sick over Ice on the extension and that fufanu on the fence. He ended up in 4th with an 87.33 because Marin Rantes laid down some hammers in his final run to put 88.66 on the scoreboard with 720 barspins, flair variations, tricks into the wall and helicopters. It was close up there in the top three with Nick Bruce edging out Marin for 2nd but missing the win with less than a point. Nick did put his bangers on the table but it was Jacob Thiem's variety of tricks that got him first. Anything between his tailwhip drop-in on the quarter and the 540 backwards on the box jump to fakie was done well. The Munich crowd approved it. Proost maat.
