A critical part of the Vans Canada team since 2015, Corey’s unmatched pool and bowl riding has captured the attention of the BMX community the world over. Hailing from Ontario, Canada, Corey’s teenage years were spent as an Olympic hopeful for the Canadian Cycling team, before he graced his first US contest in 2014, making a name for himself by winning the Gauntlet of Death event—an obstacle course where the first rider to make it through wins. As a result, he landed a spot on the Cult team that same weekend, and shortly thereafter, was welcomed onto the Vans Canada team.

First introduced on a European level in 2020, the online competition gave BMX shops across the region the chance to film a team edit, celebrating their riders and the local communities. This year, three global guests have joined the European crew and will all compete to win a share of the €20,000 prize pot.
The concept remains the same. Each invited shop receives a budget to help cover the costs of filming and editing their team video. Then they have two months to pull together an edit worthy of the top prizes.

Born in Nigeria and now calling Madrid home, Courage is the first-ever Nigerian pro BMX rider. Vans, the original action sports brand and advocate for creative expression, is proud to welcome adaptive BMX rider Julian Molina to the Vans BMX team. Hailing from Andres, Colombia, Julian has been inspiring the world through BMX for years. At age 7, while riding a skateboard, Julian was hit by a bus sustaining a severe break to his leg. The injury worsened and as a matter of life or death, Julian’s leg had to be amputated. Years later, Julian discovered BMX, which turned his life around in the way of 360’s, flips and whips. His first bike was purchased with his own hard-earned money, saved from selling candy, and since then has become like a true extension of himself.
