FATBMX Believe it, or not!? Here's just some random BMX news that we came across. Browse through it and feel the power.
-At the beginning of the year Ryan Nyquist was spotted with Adio shoes on. It wasn't that he was completely off adidas but the three stripe brand had not made up their mind yet. They now have and Ryan is back on board. After Split dropped their US team, Ryan seems to have found a clothing sponsor in Hurley.
-Mike Emde and Andy Zeiss are working on the Rebel Jam, a contest to be held at the Mellow park in Berlin with a hefty prize money budget. Stay tuned.
Premium Product's Josh Harrington actually rode the Metro jam finals with a messed up knee. The victory released the pain for a bit but it came back unwanted. Here's the 411:
Josh Harrington: "I tore my pcl, strained my mcl, acl and something else I cant remember according to the MRI that I had to wait 8 days to get results on. I do not need surgery which makes me very happy. The doctor said I was super close to tearing more ligaments which would send me straight under a big knife! I got lucky. I had to get the fluid
HARO UK tour Day 3
Liverpool - Burnley - Coventry
It was a rough night and we had a hard time getting up to leave. We ended up having breakfast at a Burger King on the road. Because it was 2pm we had a choice of either a whopper or a spicy chicken burger. Nice. We arrived at Interact skatepark an hour after that. Instead of hopping on the bike and run out of steam before the 6pm session, we decided to chill and play some frisbee, football and baseball in the parking lot.
Seeing BMX and BMX freestyle develop in the early years must have been fun. It was so new that something exciting was happening every week. Discovering the people who were actually doing new moves was a challenge. People from different areas were developing on their own without knowing what was going on 50 miles down the road. With maybe only a telephone to communicate with (no cell phones and no e-mail to communicate with in the late-'70-s/early eighties) it was hard to track people down for a photo shoot.

HARO UK TOUR Day 2
From Leeds to Liverpool
Being on tour is good fun. Hanging out with friends is great. We exchanged stories in the hotel room till 4am and got up the next morning leaving for Liverpool, home of the Beatles and Ruff Ride BMX park. We had two sessions planned for day two. A private photo shoot during the afternoon and an open session with the locals at night.
