What parts do you change most often ?
Romain Mahieu: Grips, tires and brake cable kit.
Who are some of the people who hook you up with parts when you need them :
Romain Mahieu: Usprobikes, bmxracinggroup
Do you care about the looks of your bike ?
Romain Mahieu: Of course! Every time I want my bike to look perfect. Like most of us I think.Does she have to be clean at all times before you hit the track ?
Romain Mahieu: Yes! Even if I'm training most of the time under the roof, I clean it after almost every sesh and make sure that everything is okay for the next session. And if I need to change some stuff, I do.
What tire pressure do you run?
Romain Mahieu: 6 on front and rear.
When it gets technical, who helps out with your bike?
Romain Mahieu: I can do a big part of my mechanics by myself, I really like to spend time working on my bike. But when it comes technical like building wheels, I give to the mechanics.Any special reason for the color combination of your bike?
Romain Mahieu: That's the team color. Our uniform is blue, our frame is polished with blue, that's why most of the parts on the bike are blue.
Does weight matter much to you ?
Romain Mahieu: Uhh.. Not really. I don't have any carbon on the bike and it's fine, she's light.
Thanks to: All my sponsors who help me and support me a lot. My club, my coach, all the staff I have around here at the OTC who are helping me everyday. Of course my parents, my friends and all the people who are behind me ! And thank you Bart.
