What happened to your 2015 bike?
DAMS GODET: I sold one of my frames and kept one in a box just waiting for God knows what!

What parts of the bike did you keep?
DAMS GODET: I keep some parts as forks, stems, bars (…) to rebuild training bikes that I use only for sprints.

Do you collect the numberplates that you get from several races?
DAMS GODET: Unfortunately not! I am not able to keep anything, I give it to local kids or to friends in France!

Would you feel the difference in using oversized axles and an oversized bar/stem clamping area?
DAMS GODET: Yes, I guess it’s stiffer! With the 31,8mm stem I think it’s a nice combo. I can’t really explain what is the difference but it’s great to ride.

What carbon parts are you using?
DAMS GODET: Fork! The Box X2 is light, stiff and strong so I really like it!

How long did it take you to get comfortable on the new bike?
DAMS GODET: One lap to feel comfortable, one week to feel efficient!

Besides you, who is allowed to touch (work on) your bike?
DAMS GODET: Guillaume, a friend of mine, builds my wheels. He also helps me when it goes too technical! The french team mechanist also works on my bike. Whoever it is (and it is not a matter of confidence) I like to check my bike just before I ride!

Does your bike match your team colours, or did you choose your racing kit because of the colours of the bike?
DAMS GODET: Not really! I like to have a good looking bike and sometimes I just can’t match my team color. For example I love my orange frame and I will have a purple one soon. It doesn’t matter if those bikes don’t match my race kit!
