Cycle Group, Inc. (CGI) is very pleased to announce that Jared Garcia has signed a deal to join Marc Willers on the Factory BOX Team. “I’ve had my eye on Jared since he sat in the hot seat at the Chula Vista TT in 2012. He really caught my eye this past year as he’s progressed to become one of the top American racers at the GSX Supercross Series races. His podium with Sam Willoughby and Maris Strombergs at Rock Hill was impressive, too. When I heard he was looking for a new ride, I wasted no time to reach out to him. Then, it was just a matter of finding the funding to add him to the team,” said
Michael Gamstetter, CGI’s senior brand manager.

Garcia will ride a DK Bikes Professional V2 PF30 frame equipped with a full range of BOX Components, including BOX Maximus bars and Delta stem, X2 forks and Vector cranks and will wear FLY Racing helmets and gear.
“Jared is considered by everyone who knows him to be one of the
hardest working, most humble and nicest racers on the planet. We are extremely happy to have been able to put together a package that worked for him. It will be nice to have two top Elite BOX riders on the circuit next year and, hopefully, at the Olympics in Rio,” Gamstetter added.
Currently ranked 13th in the world and third among Americans, Garcia will make his debut in the BOX Components kit February 20 at the USA BMX Winter Nationals in Phoenix, Arizona. Other Factory BOX Team sponsors include FLY Racing, Promax, Maxxis Tires, KMC Chains and ODI Grips.
“When Michael contacted me and told me that he was interested in signing me on for next year, I immediately knew it would be a great fit. I knew I wanted to make things work. Now, I can officially say I will be part of the BOX Team. I’m so grateful for the opportunity. I’m looking forward to representing such a great company as I continue to race and progress as a rider,” Garcia said.
