Women Flatland:

FISE Shanghai, the second stop of the international season, came to a spectacular close this Sunday. Between flawless performances and tightly contested podiums, the final day delivered an incredible show, crowning champions such as Hannah Roberts, Yu Shoji, and Justin Dowell.

UCI BMX FREESTYLE PARK WORLD CUP: HANNAH ROBERTS AND JUSTIN DOWELL TAKE THE WIN IN SHANGHAI

The Women’s Final of the 2025 FISE Shanghai offered an amazing show, with eight top riders battling for victory.

Rain made an appearance on the third day of FISE Shanghai, forcing adjustments to the competition schedule. But between clear skies and breaks in the weather, riders and fans kept the FISE spirit alive. Here’s a recap of the day’s highlights:

UCI BMX FREESTYLE PARK WORLD CUP: WOMEN KICK OFF THE DAY
Saturday marked the start of the competition for the Women in the second round of the UCI BMX Freestyle Park World Cup. The qualification day offered impressive performances, promising a high-level final tomorrow. Leading the rankings, young Japanese rider Ozawa Miharu qualified in first place. Other finalists included regulars of major FISE finals, such as Olympians Hannah Roberts and Natalya Diehm.

Western Australia's iconic beachside bowl, the Scarborough Snake Pit, came alive on October 11th for the highly anticipated Groundswell Festival, home of one of the largest BMX Bowl competitions in Australia - The Groundswell BMX Bowl Battle. Riders from across Australia dropped in, ready to send it in a head to head battle of skill and grit. The competition featured two divisions, Rad and Raddest. Riders went through qualifying rounds to seed their battle final order. Each rider went head to head in an intense battle format. The lowest ranked finalist took on the next in line, the winner advancing each round until only one rider remained standing. This battle style format ignites the crowd and really revs up the competitors.
