You know, it's the start of the new year. More sponsor changes when we hear about them.
On to DJ now. Here we go:
Slack as ever here's my long overdue 2 cents worth for this weeks FAT Friday...
T-Mobile Extreme Playgrounds Street Session winner Harry Main has recently signed a nice 3year deal with long time shoe sponsor Nike 6.0 putting him firmly in the major players league.
One of the best BMX photographers there was is getting his cameras out the loft to get back to doing what he does best so expect lots of amazing new stuff from Chris Woodage real soon.
Shaun Scarfe has taken his skatepark building business to "the next level" by opening not only a facebook account but also a twitter one! Check them out on both sites under "fouronefour"
UK vert legend, one time circus performer & expert plate thrower Zach Shaw has recently parted ways with long time sponsor Oakley after 10 years but has become the 1st rider on the newly formed Vans Europe "Masters & Legends" team which I'm sure we'll get more info on soon? Cue Andy Zeiss....? Zach is also waiting on Jan Valenta's broken back healing soon so they can head out to Woodward East for some winter training.
After some bullshit with neighbours, council meetings & eventual court order to remove it Mark Webbs perfect 7ft mini ramp with resi has been dismantled & removed from its perfect country location. Mark is currently scouring the local area trying to find a suitable indoor location to rebuild his ramp & possibly more.
Even though its a few months late congratulations to Ronnie Remo & wife Kim on the birth of their son Seth. Remo's Total BMX company will have parts in stock soon, keep a check on their website www.totalbmx.com for more info
Possibly the UK's best BMX video maker Mikey King is no longer riding for GT & is now representing BSD through Zeal Distro, totally stoked on the whole set up & still pumping out top quality web edits via his ffwdbmx.com site.
I'm going to make more of an effort to do my part of the news here on FATBMX so hopefully more soon? If you got any UK based stuff & you have my details give me a bell init?!
DJ
Thanks DJ. What else this week?
-David Wootten has some news for us from the Stolen camp: We just signed a deal to take over Boyd Coddington's (of American Hot Rod on Discovery Channel) Office/Showroom/Warehouse as the new Stolen residence. The building is almost 10,000 square feet of which 4000 of it will be a STLN bike park.
-Welcome back to HARO Bikes as a sponsor of FATBMX. They've got a new website up at: www.harobikes.com.
-The FAT FAVOURITE list is still going. As long as they're coming in, we'll keep posting them up. Good ones this week though and one with THE LORD coming up tomorrow:
-Hannu Cools
-Max Bimar
-Zac Miner
-Vince Kroff
-Andres Lainevool
-Lance Mosley

Serious list to go through and see what their favourite things in life are.
-We had a Levi's poster competition up here on FATBMX a few weeks ago and here are the winners of the poster packages. For the few that have not received them yet, you can pick them up at Paul's Boutique. That includes you Jamie Bestwick, tea is ready. And bring that dinosaur painting as I have a crocodile painting here for you.
-Michael van der Lee

- Talking about Paul's Boutique, they are now doing Federal again.
-You probably noticed a new article on FATBMX called "Workshop Wednesday". First episode is now online. The articles are about (former) BMX-ers who are into building something in their own garage when they're not out riding. Think welders, benders, grinders, grease, tools, dirty hands, girl calendars on the walls. From hotrods to building ramps, from welding bicycles to fixing motorcycles. We have some good guys lined up for the future to bring you a weekly article that is different from the regular tailwhip down a set of stairs. Read the first episode featuring McGoo, right here.

-Yesterday we set up a Facebook account for FATBMX: http://www.facebook.com/FATBMX
We also set up a fan page. So if you see that link pop up in one of the posts, just hit it. You know it's legit. We're now at 250 friends on the FATBMX account and 187 fans on the FATBMX.com page. Vans are going to send out a package to a random FAN of every 250 people that sign up on the FAN page until we reach the 1000th FATBMX.com fan. So four people will be contacted for their mailing address until we've reached 1000 fans. First winner will be announded as soon as we reach the 250th fan mark.
