For the third time the T-Mobile Local Support Dirt Challenge is going to take place on March 28th, 2009. The BMX and MTB Dirt jump contest for Pros and Amateurs has changed the location for this year to the trails of the Halle 5 in Mainz/Germany which will ensure ideal contest conditions. The lines of the Halle 5 has been reshaped by the team of Markus Hampl and Benny Paulsen, so expect this challenge to get really dirty! On the new track, 2 riders will partner up to compete in separate BMX and MTB contests for really cool prizes. For first prize, an obstacle worth € 4000 for a spot of their choice awaits the 2 winning teams. The first place AM BMX team will receive a team portrait on freedombmx.tv and an additional complete set of Pro-tec protective equipment. Second place teams will win BBQs at their home spots and loads of prizes from The Local Face shop.

In addition to these prizes, the riders are competing for starting places at the Dirt Session of the T-Mobile Extreme Playgrounds on April 19th, 2009 in Duisburg/Germany. The qualification to enter this world class competition is only possible at the T-Mobile Local Support Dirt Challenge in Mainz – and nowhere else! The top 3 Pro BMX riders and, thanks to the T-Mobile Wildcard, the best AM BMX rider, will be able to join the exclusive starting line-up. Just to name a few, the four-time Nora Cup winner
Corey Bohan (AUS), the French dirt jump legend
Patrick Guimez and the dirt jump world champion
Kye Forte (UK) participate in this competition.
There will also be a free BBQ for all riders at the T-Mobile Local Support Dirt Challenge on March 28th, 2009 to help gather strength for this tough challenge. The Local Support Service Van will be there as well to help with maintenance and necessary repairs all day long.
