ETNIES AND UNITED BIKES PROUDLY COLLABORATE

Through their collective group of progressive riders, Corey Martinez, Nathan Williams and Geoff Slattery, etnies and United Bike Company joined forces to create an entire line of footwear, apparel and bikes together. The collection mixes in primary colors that tie the apparel’s bright graphics with the footwear’s bright pops of color to the spokes of the bike’s wheels. This collaboration, with the brands’ riders, comprises the United Colors of etnies.

Below are more details on the United Colors of etnies collection that includes three footwear styles, six apparel pieces and three bikes.

BRAKE 2.0: An update to the original shoe made specifically for brakeless BMX riders, the Brake 2.0 is a new style for fall 2013. The Brake 2.0 features an asymmetrical collar for ankle bite protection as well as a STI Foam Lite level 1 footbed and dual durometer rubber outsoles with an internal dual density EVA midsole for the ultimate in braking durability, comfort and protection.

BARGE LS: The low profile, slim styling of the Barge LS is a team favorite for its grippy, yet durable 400 NBS vulcanized rubber outsole and STI Foam Lite level 1 footbed for comfort. It also features a thin padded tongue and collar for support and protection.

RVM: Built on a classic etnies mid-top silhouette, the vulcanized RVM features traditional Rap styling with a nubuck upper, lower hidden lace loops, a triple-stitched toe cap and a 400 NBS rubber outsole for durability. For added protection, it includes a padded tongue and collar, and an STI Foam Lite level 2 footbed and system G2 in the heel for added comfort.

The United Colors of etnies collection pictured on the riders above features six apparel pieces including the Chaley flannel, Unitetis Henley, Zip, Crew, Tee and Beanie.

etnies and United Bikes complete the collaboration by bringing the poppy primary colors of the collection together on three BMX bikes. These bikes are super-limited and won’t be sold in stores long. Be on the lookout for a chance to win one online too.
