After the big boom in the early 80’s, BMX nearly disappeared from this planet. Nearly...but far away from any trend, there were still some individuals spread out all over the world, who just followed a passion. During that time, Dirty Steel was born with the main intention, to create BMX goods for a group of friends. 
After doing a BMX 'zine for ten years (1987 - 1996) FATBMX made it on the internet. The year was 1998. Here to stay.
