It’s a matter of fit

Flexible interior for individual head shapes
Presenting the Arctic Kraken’s FlexTech Technology, TSG offers the ultimate solution to unsatisfied helmet users. The helmet’s interior is divided into pieces just like a cake, with eight separate parts wrapping the head and offering enough space for the entire helmet to adapt to the individual head shape of its wearer – because a 54 cm head size does not tell if the head is rather round or oval. New for the season 11/12 these parts are no longer interconnected via a complex spacer but feature an injected flexible synthetic strap only.
This provides for additional flexibility and even lower weight. A robust ABS outer shell is placed over the flexible helmet interior, which guarantees that the separate inner parts are kept together even in case of an impact.
Obviously, the Arctic Kraken’s major benefit is its wearing comfort because the flexible interior is elastic enough to make as much space for the individual curves of the head shape as needed. This avoids too much pressure on the head in case the helmet touches certain regions too closely.
Keeping a cool head
Further advantages of the FlexTech inner shell include the optimized air circulation. Thanks to vertical channels in between the individual parts of the shell, air may circulate better, heat may ascend and be directed out of the helmet via the Active Shell Venting. Fresh air can enter via 14 aerodynamic vents.
Safe comfort
The Low-Fit helmet shell also protects the back of the head as well as the sides. Soft removable ear pads provide for comfortable insulation and additional protection. A soft neck roll connects the ear pads and ensures both a low fit on the back of the head as well as premium neck insulation without limiting mobility.
Superior protection
The Arctic Kraken helmet surpasses the European Union and United States safety requirements, since it helps distribute the impact energy better than a conventional stiff helmet.
Presentation platform for artists TSG entered the “scetchface” Arctic Kraken model which was designed and created by USAmerican artist David Flores. Inspired by the multipart flexible interior of the helmet, David Flores chose to create a composite sketchface design which resembles the helmet inherent technology. Logos and chin strap are designed in matching colors. In addition to this, the Arctic Kraken is available in matte black and matte white.
