Putting on events is easier said than done. We all know what we want to do but you need funding to make it happen. That is not the easiest part either. This year's Warriors of Wood is still happening, but the planned street course has been postponed till next year. Here's some info from organiser Ryan Nyquist himself: "So we just had a meeting to figure out where things are with Warriors and fund raising and what not, and we have decided that we are not going to be able to do the street course this year. We haven't been able to generate a lot of sponsors and that street course was a major expense with the whole event cost. So we are pushing the street course to next year, in hopes that we will have more funding to do it right.
