Each Cent of the starter fee will run into this project. The new face of the obstacle is already set. In accord to the visitors of the Halle Kalk it is a pyramid with a constant street-rail and a curb. The ramp fits perfectly to the previous park-setup and will make dreams come true of any BMX- or skateboard-fan. The new toy will offer you an approach from both sides and various trick combinations.
Even if you are not participating at the Rookie Jam, you can help us to collect the money for the new obstacle. The Halle Kalk has got a mini-version of the ramp which is to be used as a saving box. So check out if you are able to donate a few Euros the next time you will visit the bike & skatepark. As soon as we will have collected enough money the agency spielbetrieb in association with some local riders will start to build up the new ramp. The facts:
• To guarantee perfect contest-conditions, there won’t be a registration on ground. Riders can register online with an online-form on our website: www.rookie-jam.de or directly at the AbenteuerHallenKALK. Deadline for registration is the 25th of March 2010
• The starter fee is about 5,00 €.
• Visitors have free entrance.
• Doors open and practice at 10:00 AM
• The contest will start at 1:00 PM The classes are divided as you can see below:
• Rookies: up to 12 years
• Amateurs: from 13 years (but younger)
• E.T.-class: from 30 years
ATTENTION: All attendants have to sign a disclaimer. Riders who are under 18 years old have to sign the disclaimer by their parents.
It isn’t just a fight for fame, glory and massive prizes, furthermore it’s a battle for a good aim at the Rookie Jam 2010 which will take place at the 27th of March at the AbenteuerHallen KALK in Cologne. Contrary to most people BMX-riders and skateboarders live with a special affection for obstacles. Regarding to that it is so much the better that every rider who will join the Rookie Jam 2010 makes a contribution to a new obstacle for the bike & skatepark.
