2010 marks the fourth season of Europe’s most successful action sports series, the T-Mobile Extreme Playgrounds. Starting out on April 25th in Duisburg’s Kraftzentrale at the beautiful Landschaftspark Nord, the world’s elite BMX Dirtjump and Mountainbike Slopestyle riders are going to throw themselves over hill-shaped tons of mud, while the festival-size stage plays host to bands like A.F.I., and Canadian punk rockers Sum 41. Also rocking the crowds will be riders like 23-year-old Dirt World Champion
Anthony Napolitan (USA), X-Games winner
Rob Darden, German Dirtjump Champion 2008
Markus Hampl, and former Dew Tour Champion
Ryan Guettler. More riders (and the third band) will be announced within the next few weeks. Sum 41’s last appearance in Germany was over two years ago and more than sold out, so get your tickets early!
Just the best for the Ruhr area! The list of the BMX Dirtjump riders

that have confirmed their participance has everyone in smiles, as the possible duels are already legendary: Titleholder/X-Games winner
Rob Darden (USA) and Dirt World Champion
Anthony Napolitan (USA) meet the German Dirtjump Champion
Markus Hampl and Great Britain’s stuntman
Ben Wallace. Spectacular tricks will be their weapons, when these pros go head-to-head in front of a few thousand spectators, to win the coveted title and a good part of the prize purse!
While the riders rest, the audience won’t. Next to the already confirmed US band A.F.I. (A Fire Inside) we are very happy to announce Sum 41 as the second act to take the stage! Their 2001 debut and breakthrough album “All Killer No Filler” sold over 3.5 million copies. Their fourth studio album “Underclass Hero” got them into Germany’s Top 10. For the Duisburg show, we can expect a lot of stuff from their 2009 best of release “All The Good Shit”. Yet, there is one band still missing in the line-up. This band is to be announced very soon.
