The Elite BMX hub is configured with Profile's new UltraDriver cassette. The UltraDriver has 204 points of instant engagement and no dead spots. Profile will initially sell the Elite as a hubset. Colors available from Monday 5 April will be Black and Blue with Red to follow next. These are the same black, blue, and red as Profile's stems, sprockets, and small parts, so you can mix or match your existing parts. Aluminum cog and/or Titanium 3/8" bolts extra. With optional Titanium Axle bolts, the front hub weighs 192 grams, and the rear hub (with aluminum 15 cog) weighs 362 grams.

Running a bit late with this one but thought I'd squeeze it in before everyone makes it over to the 2010 Mini-FATJAM this afternoon. It might just still be Friday somewhere on the planet right now so this weekly FAT Friday news post will make sense to them. What have we got this week? Again, loads of stuff. We went to the UCI Supercross BMX race in Madrid and reported about that one. The Good Stuff lists have been going strong as have the FAT FAVs lists thanks to Susan Linerode who has been contributing like a mad man, or mad woman, or superwomen? 

Those crazy dudes are at it again. Another edition of the Mini FAT-JAM is on the schedule for 3 April 2010. It's a bit of a special edition as Paul's Boutique will celebrate its 15 years in business that weekend so if you've ever wanted to party with the Coach, and ride the Sugar Hills on the same day, 3 April is the day to circle in your agenda. The day will kick off at the local trails around 13h00. As always we're expecting sunny weather and it will be the first time to ride outdoors in a T-shirt. Winter has been too rough, it's time for some good outdoor riding. Of course we've gathered some prizes from our generous sponsors like Vans and Snafu, and Monster will be handing out some drinks to the riders to keep them energized. This one will give you a little insight in our secret lab! One of the last products we are working on includes a new way of adjusting the gap of your freecoaster (patent pending) and a dual F-Set rotor (patent pending)! In order to give you more details about this exciting project, we are revealing the first picture of our first prototype bike.

- Freecoaster with hydro-slack adjustment: Based on a hydraulic system, we managed to create a freecoaster that can be adjusted directly by the means of a shifter. The hydro-slack adjustment shifter can be placed on the handlebar and allows for an instantaneous slack adjustment (patent pending). No more tools needed, no more time wasted!

- Dual F-Set rotor: Because many riders still like to ride with brakes, 

KIA X Games Asia will return to Shanghai, China, for the fourth consecutive year May 27-30, and for the first time will feature the exciting new Skateboard and BMX disciplines of mini-MegaRamp™ contest. Several of the biggest names and most decorated athletes in X Games history have been confirmed to compete at the 12th annual event: four-time gold medalist Kevin Robinson and eight-time medalist Simon Tabron.

Showcasing nearly 200 athletes from more than 30 countries, fans will see world-class competition in the sports of Skateboard, BMX and Aggressive In-Line Skate, as well as Moto X Big Air demonstrations. The event will be televised live from Shanghai’s KIC Jiangwan Sports Center on Great Sports in Shanghai and across Asia on ESPN STAR Sports.
