DC is proud to announce it has named Eric DeLary the new BMX Sports Marketing Manager. Eric will be responsible for developing and leading all of the BMX Team's marketing initiatives in areas of advertising, photography, filmography and promotions. His focus will be on forging new ties within in the BMX industry and further strengthening existing relationships that DC has with its BMX Team, including riders;
Dave Mirra, Corey Bohan, Edwin Delarosa, Allan Cooke, Chris Doyle and
Chad Kagy.
"Eric's passion for the sport won us over," said
Sean Lake, DC Director of Team Promotions.
"His attention to every detail, communication skills and drive to push BMX forward, not only at DC, but within the whole action sports industry shows he is the type of guy we want on our team." Eric brings to DC great marketing skills, experience and knowledge of the BMX industry. A New York native, he got his start riding and instructing at Woodward Action Sports Camp in Woodward, PA. He got his hands dirty as a
"grease monkey" in bike shops and learned the ins and outs of the industry by working as a consultant for various BMX brands on the East Coast.
"I started riding with anyone who wanted to ride because it was fun, and that's what this team is all about," said Eric.
"The DC Team is a diverse group of great guys who all love to ride. I'm more than excited to have the opportunity to work with them, find ways to grow the sport, and get everyone stoked to hop on a bike and ride."
