The municipality has announced an exciting redevelopment of the Olympiaplein skatepark in Amsterdam, Netherlands, set to take place at the end of next year. While planning is already underway, community input will play a key role in shaping the final design. To get involved, you can complete an online survey to share your ideas and preferences, or attend the community meeting at the skatepark on Wednesday evening, July 9. More information, including the survey link, is available below. For BMX riders in particular, this is an important opportunity. The more BMXers who contribute through the survey and attend the public sessions, the more likely it is that BMX-specific
needs and features will be included in the final plan. Let’s make sure our voices are heard.
As a preview of what's to come, the city will already be installing several new skate obstacles at the end of July. These features will be available for testing throughout the coming year.
