The Dew Tour today announced that Craig Mast was voted the winner of the PlayStation® Pro Moment Award from the Tour’s first event, the Nike 6.0 BMX Open, which took place June 26-27 in Chicago’s Grant Park. The PlayStation Pro Moment is awarded to the athlete at each stop of the Dew Tour who landed the best trick of the event, as voted on by fans. Voting began on Sunday, June 28, the day after competitions ended. Fans could view the videos at allisports.com/playstation or on V CAST Videos from Verizon Wireless in the Sports channel folder and the PlayStation®Network. 
The ten year drought for a Dutch-owned No.1 Euro title was ended recently at the Euro Championship finals, held on a tight indoor track in Denmark. And with pure consistency for the final two points races of the series, Scherpen did exactly what was needed: "Coming into this event," Scherpen explained, "I was leading by just a mere 3 points in front of Belguim's Arnoud Dubois. On Saturday I won all my motos and so did he. We both didn't lose a point until the final. In the main event, I had a pretty bad gate and got shut down by Hamon straight out of the gate, but I managed to finish in 5th while Arnoud finished 3rd." 
Out of a field of 30 BMX riders, Chad Kerley won the BMX park competition Sunday at the Gatorade Free Flow Tour’s stop in Clairemont, Calif. Fifteen-year-old Kerley from San Diego, Calif. earned the BMX park victory at the Mission Valley YMCA after executing a number of technical tricks during the final jam session, including a barspin to manual to barspin to seal the victory. Dillon Hass was second and Patrick Casey finished in third place. “I was just happy to make it through the semi-final heat after my hands started cramping up,” Kerley said. “But once I got to the finals, everything turned on, and I felt good. All the guys were riding so well today, it was a crazy contest.”
