Sheep Hills has been around forever. The first time I visited the spot was years ago. 1992 I believe. It's been in the news and on the scene ever since. Several generations of riders have maintained the jumps and built some new lines to keep the place going. It's worth an annual visit just to see how the place is doing and if we're lucky some riding gets done. Last fall one of the Sheep Hills Locals by the name of
Mike "Boozer" Brown crashed in a BMX race in Reno and broke his back which has landed him in a wheelchair. Mike has spent more time at Sheep Hills than most of us digging, riding and something that has to do with his nickname.
On 7 April we're going to get together at Sheep Hills for the Boozer Jam. Mike will be there and so will the Sheep Hills Locals, current Pro racers, the BMX media, BMX friends and family, current dirt jump pro riders and old school BMX-ers. It will be a gathering of sorts when
