The Slovakian round of the Pump Track World Championships delivered tight racing with riders navigating a fast, technical track. Thank you Košice for the incredible support In the men’s race, it was Poland’s Braian Nowak who laid down the fastest run of the day to take the win. Sirio Grünig from Switzerland claimed second after a solid series of laps, while Sweden’s Love Sylwan settled for third after a costly mistake in the semi-final. Mattia Costerman took fourth.
The women’s race saw Slovakia’s Kristína Nováková take top honours on home soil, putting down a brilliant final run that secured first place. Fellow Slovakian Kristína Madarásová came through in
second, while Olga Biegun of Poland held on for third after a shaky second timed run. Lena Szerling finished fourth.
All eyes now turn to Monthey, Switzerland, where the rainbow jersey will be decided at the World Final! Big Qualifiers are coming up in June, July and August. Let's keep on racing!
