The Red Bull UCI Pump Track World Championships will head to Lisboa! The stunning capital city of Portugal is one of the most charismatic and vibrant cities in Europe, a city that effortlessly blends traditional heritage with striking modernism and progressive thinking and it will now play host to the 2021 World Final on the weekend of 15 to 17 October. The spectacular Velosolutions Pump Track is located in Parque das Nações, next to the famous Vasco da Gama Bridge and will set the stage for the ultimate showdown as some of the best pump track riders in the world lineup in Lisbon. The main track is close to 300m in length and will provide a challenging ride, testing both skill and endurance to the max on race day.
The last day of the 2021 UCI Urban Cycling World Championships presented by FISE did not disappoint as we witnessed Flatland Masterclasses in the Men’s and Women’s Finals. The format was the same as the semi-finals with each rider getting just 1 run of 3 minutes to produce their absolute best performance, talk about pressure!
BMX Flatland Women
Irena Sadovnik from Austria produced a huge performance to be crowned the 2021 UCI BMX Flatland World Champion once again. She pulled off a perfect run full of complicated combos, including an
Incredible displays of BMX in both contests as riders gave it their all to try and take home the coveted UCI Rainbow Jersey. This event is also the very last occasion to get points towards qualifying for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games this summer, so the stakes could not have been higher.
BMX Freestyle Park Men
Logan Martin pulled off an unbelievable run to take home the gold medal and UCI Rainbow Jersey, scoring 94.7. His run had everything, massive tricks and flawless execution including a Nothing Front Bike Flip and 720 double barspin.
BMX Freestyle Park Women
The 2021 UCI BMX Freestyle Park World Champion is Hannah Roberts. The defending champion holds on to the title and takes home the Rainbow Jersey once again. Every time these ladies compete the bar is raised and the progression is evident, which is what makes the Women’s BMX Park Contests so exciting to watch. Today was no exception, as we saw all the girls pushing the limits with many new and improved tricks.
