Plug and play! The beauty of the Big Air Bag is that you roll it out, put the plug into the electrical outlet and a giant landing occurs right in front of you. But it doesn't stop there as a roll-in is needed that sends you to the take-off with enough speed to clear the gap. As usual the 040BMXPARK crew had taken care of everything and did the measurements of the height of the roll-in that was needed and the took care of the correct dimensions of the launch ramp. The only thing the riders needed was the balls to roll in and send it. It was an opportunity for some to learn new tricks. The set-up was out there for anyone to use and with riders like Shaun Gornall, Niels van Maaren, Paul Thoelen, Tom van den Bogaard, Shanice Silva Cruz, Erik van de Wardt, Daniel Wedemeijer, Jari Roggeveen and a whole bunch of young rippers, the session lasted all afternoon.
BMX Career numbers change after each UCI World Championship. The new World Champions get to show off with the big number 1 on their plate and the rainbow jersey on their shoulders. The top 8 numbers are reserved for the finalists but they can either stick with their current career number or show off what place they got at the latest World's. In the Elite Women class the Smulders family already have their jerseys printed. #1 on the back for Laura and #2 for Merel while Judy Baauw has chosen to got for the W3 plate from now on until the UCI World Championships start in Heusden-Zolder, Belgium next year. Sylvain André will rock the #1 plate in Elite Men with Joris Daudet keeping his #33 career number. Mr. De Souza will proudly rock the #3 for a year and get used to Joris Harmsen running the W4 plate, Kyle Evans with the 6 and David Graf turning in the 48 for #7 for the upcoming races.

How To Build The Coastin' Ramp - Flybikes. Flybikes has always seen things a little differently, taken its own approach and thought outside the box, not only with the team they’ve built or product they produce, but also the content they’ve put out. One such piece of content was a video where the focus was of a team that that saw the simplicity in riding, hanging out together by finding an every day object to ride, in this instance a “pallet” and dragged it around the city to make “almost spots” into completely fun rideable spots. Ultimately, ending a day of amazing riding using the pallet itself as firewood to keep warm and cook food over. Those were fun times and amazing memories for the team...
