On the race
front, VSI's presence at the ABA Nationals season opener in Reno was nothing short of absolute domination on the track and the podiums. VSI was represented by the new Factory Intense and Factory Speed teams, J&R-Speed, Rennen-Intense, Free Agent (Sinz Elite forks and THE helmets and number plates), Crupi (Sinz Elite forks and THE number plates) and a slew of individual riders from 5 Novice to Elite. It seemed as if there was at least one Speed or Intense bike on the track at all times. By the end of the weekend, The Factory Intense and Speed Teams had taken 11 firsts and 10 more podium spots and Speed and Intense frames were ridden to some 77 Expert or Elite podium appearances, including 37 wins. J&R-Speed picked up the Shop Team trophy while Rennen-Intense took the Factory Team trophy both days. Not a bad way to start the season.
