Yesterday I loaded up the van with Philip (5), Max (5) and Veerle (2) and headed for the Pony trails in Leende. The idea was to let them ride the little pump track where the trees are so I could try to ride a bit on the tables next to the pump track. Surprise, surprise,

The UNIVERSITY of BMX and ATTRACTIEPARK SLAGHAREN are the organizers of the “International Old Skool of BMX Reunion & Celebration of 30 years of BMX in Holland and therefore in Europe. Gerrit Does explains: More then 30 years ago, I introduced the sport of BMX during an International Moto-Cross event at the “Euro-circuit” in Valkenswaard – Holland. About 8 months later, to be precise October 19th 1978 we formed the Stichting Fietscross Nederland (S.F.N.) and BMX became then an official sport. 
After doing a BMX 'zine for ten years (1987 - 1996) FATBMX made it on the internet. The year was 1998. Here to stay.
