The newest stuff we have that we really need to let people know about is the new safety gear. Might not seem very exciting until you actually see and wear these things. We put a substantial amount of work into each piece. The idea behind the stuff was that we needed to combat complete bikes that are coming with great parts for $250. Equipped as well as they are from the factory, riders don't need as many upgrades as they used to. So, while we are working on the evolution of wearable items like tires and grips, we decided to make some pads (Something that doesn't come on that new $299 MirraCo bike already). The pads are super slim and have removable hard cups. The sock-like material was lifted from a Nike volleyball or soccer knee pad.

The tenth anniversary of the KoNY was a good time and lots of good riding went down . Steve McCann takes home the bragging rights as the new King of New York! Many thanks to Danny Parks and the old school Mullaly crew and NYC parks department for hooking up this action packed competition. The pro class was a blast with the likes of Steve McCann who was totally killing the Mullaly park. Adrian Henderson from Colorado battled his way into second place and Jorge the "EAGLE" Jovel local Bronx native took third.
It is with great pleasure to announce that SE’s Javier Colombo is the 2007 U.C.I. Elite Men’s Pro BMX World Champion. The race took place this past weekend in Sao Paulo, Brazil on one of the best World Championship tracks to date. Javier rode strong throughout the day and qualified to the 8-man main event, beating out over 90 of the world’s best riders from over 20 different countries.
In the final, Javier had a great start on his PK Ripper Team bike and went into the first turn in 2nd place, just behind former National Champion, Randy Stumpfhauser (GT Bikes). Javier rode a strong lap and stayed within striking distance of Randy throughout the two pro sections and five turns. Coming out of the final turn, Javier charged hard and pulled up along side of Randy. With approximately 25 ft to the finish, Javier rode the final jumps with more aggression and passed Randy by a half of a bike length for the U.C.I. World Championships win!

Anyway, here'the info for the summer session Flatlandjam in Menen, Belgium:
