Next time you make it down to Aarle-Rixtel the Sugar Hills trails might not be there anymore. At least not in the same shape as they were at the Mini FAT-JAM this past weekend. Loads of riders made it over to ride the legendary place one more time before the plans for a new spot becomes effective. Hopefully this current spot can be saved as a BMX track for the kids. It's got too much history to turn into another grass field. We'll keep you posted on that. It was good to see that so many riders found their way to Aarle-Rixtel. It showed that BMX

is alive and the crowd still comes over to watch the stunts. And we did have some good stunts at this year's event. 720 turndowns from
Daniel Wedemeijer, Fronties and a coupld of double loop attempts from
Pim van den Bos. Dennis was back in form and did plenty of cancan supermans.
Sig Cools did 360 turndowns and fellow Belgians
Sven Grieten and
Greg van Tulder showed why they made it to the Premium team.
Barry Kohne did

sweet no-handed flips and his super rad superman whips.
Joeri Faassen progresses every time I see him ride and pulled some great variations over the killer jump and also did wallrides to whip on that shady bank to wall set-up. Familie
Schonewille was in full effect,
Paul was rocking the mic and all day we had tunes from Monster Energy who brought the DJ booth and drinks for everyone. The other sponsors donated prizes that Paul gave out for best tricks, best crashes, best line and whatever else he could think of. Fun, fun, fun. All in all it was a good day on the bike. No stress, just riding, learning new tricks, brushing off some cobwebs of some oldies, trying a new line, chill, drink, BBQ, chat, etc. Just the way we like it.
