The Atlantic Bike Stunt Alliance (ABSA), the operators of the Trans Jam BMX Contest Series, partnered with the City of Greenville, NC on Saturday to celebrate BMX in Protown USA with the Second Annual BMX Fest presented by Freegun Underwear, 99.5 the X Radio, Bell Helmets, and the King BMX Stunt Show. Hundreds of people showed up to Five Point Plaza in downtown, many who had never witnessed the sport live, to catch the action of the Park and Flatland competitions, the new Street competition, exhibits portraying Greenville's history in the sport, a vintage bike display, a kids art contest, vendors, entertainment, and more. Riders traveled from all over the United States, including riders from California, Georgia, Louisiana, Colorado, Michigan, New York, Texas, Pennsylvania and more to compete for $4,500 in prize money and ride with other BMXers from around the country.
