Vans, the original action sports footwear and apparel brand, is proud to partner with triple-threat BMX team rider Dennis Enarson to put his spin on the Old Skool Pro BMX, featuring first-of-its-kind WAFFLECUP BMX construction that’s been designed, tested and approved by today’s top riders. Representing Dennis’ renowned abilities, refined aesthetic and focus on mental clarity when riding, the Enarson Old Skool Pro BMX leans on an earthy olive/gum colorway, and is debossed with a hand-drawn mandala based on one of Dennis’ tattoos, which was created by longtime friend, fellow rider and tattoo artist, Thomas Hooper.
“His tattoos always mean a lot to me and it’s nice to put some of his work on the shoe,” Enarson comments. “These are strong shoes that are hard to mess up, and I dig them more and more as they age, which I don’t think I’ve ever said about any shoe in my life —especially with how hard I can be on them. The colors and materials make this the perfect shoe for shredding, camping, or just stompin’ around.”
Specifically created with the BMXer in mind, WAFFLECUP BMX provides unrivaled support and durability without sacrificing precious pedalfeel. A herringbone underlayer adds a second life beneath Vans’ classic gum rubber compound that has a more rigid flex pattern – all reinforced like a tank.
Perry Kramer PK Ripper 27,5" review. The Perry Kramer signature bike is a great wheelie bike it's very stable and has some great parts on it. The thing that I like the most are the hydraulic brakes, they work very well and you don’t have to pull that hard to brake which means that you can wheelie longer. The other thing that I like is the color way, the silver and black is really nice and gives the bike a clean look.
Installing it was easy, after about 20 minutes the bike was ready to go. The only thing that I didn’t like were the Oakley grips. They look cool but after a full
session you can see the pattern in your hand. But that’s a minor thing, after some sessions they get softer and more comfortable.
The revolutionary Dawn Flex helmet brings true soft-fit comfort combined with a CE certified construction. This is what soft-shell users have been waiting for: the perfect compromise between comfort and safety. We have added our FlexTech innovation to this classic full-cut design with ear protection. The Dawn Flex utilizes a series of interior EPS foam segments connected by a reinforced skeleton, allowing the helmet to flex and mold to your head while still exceeding safety standards. The result is a lid that fits snugly without cramping, and will exceed all your expectations.
Features:
-Hardshell construction: Hardshell helmets are constructed from ABS or PP plastic. This outer shell gets bonded to the EPS core for a two-piece construction that provides high durability and ultimate high-impact protection.

Surprise surprise! A printed magazine in A5 format. Brough to you by the folks of Freedom BMX magazine. It sure was nice to have a printed BMX magazine in hand. It doesn't happen too often any more unfortunately as DIG, RIDE, Freedom, Soul, Cream, RIDE UK, 2020, all stopped producing them on a regular basis. The Freedom BMX Athina 'zine came to life as the trip to Athens with the SI BMX crew resulted in too many good photos not to use. Responsible for that was Merlin Czarnulla who lugged around his camera gear for a week to capture the riding from Jan Mihaly, Eddie Baum, TomSchorb-Mergenthaler, Fabian Bader, Lukas Häusler, Robin Heiderich, Christian Heger, and Adrian Warnken.
It happens more often that a trip deserves more than a video, social media posts and a website report. A 'zine is a nice touch, but somebody has to pay for it. Sport Import footed the bill but they got 9 full pages of ads of their imported brands in return plus all the coverage was of their team riders. Nice trade-off.
52 pages of high quality paper in full colour. Times have changed from the 'zine days in the '80-s when it was hard to make a photo look good on the xerox machine. A welcome change no doubt. If interested, contact Markus Wilke at Freedom BMX or better, SIBMX as they'll have some extra copies laying about.
