While the focus of Can You Film This? was on the up and coming generation of riders on GT, the pro squad stepped in for a bit as well. Here's a bangin' mix featuring Brian Kachinsky, Dan Conway, Mike Guth, Tate Roskelley, Leandro Moreira, and Albert Mercado.
After several years eight women competed at the Sister Session 23 BMX street jam. MC Andy Zeiss says that all the ladies were delivering hard, trying to find their lines with the mix of street and transition moves and tricks. “Bethany definitely made the biggest overall impression on us, that’s what the judges are always looking for – the biggest variety of tricks, how original both runs are, and how many tricks are repeated. Bethany didn’t fall or slip, she was very committed, she did the 360 fakie out of the quarter pipe – that was very unique,” says Zeiss.
When the GT Fueler first hit the market at the end of the '90s it was a frame built strong for the upcoming BMX Dirt scene. When racers were hitting the local trails, the bikes did not hold up. The Fueler, made inhouse at GT in California, did. Fast forward to 2023 and Tom Justice is on a GT Fueler and digs it. See what he has to say about the bike and check his parts list. His unique riding style starts with a good bike.

The past year has been a great one for us. From supporting the steady return of amazing events, the roll out of fun product and team rider projects, and the bumping of two members to the Pro ranks with surprises for both Mason Ritter and Julian Molina. The team news didn’t stop there, and we were fortunate enough to add both UK legend Tom Justice to the Pro squad and female rising star and the 2022 Bloom Rookie of the Year, Bethany Hedrick, to the GT BMX family. Before we kick start 23, take a moment to watch back over our 2022 highlights!
Is Tate Roskelley having the most fun on his bike? It definitely looks that way. But his one-of-kind flavor of freestyle doesn’t always come easy. Here’s over 20-minutes worth of insight into what went into making his Wait, What? video part.
If you’ve ever seen footage or photos of Leandro Moreira flying high, while executing tricks with absolute perfection, unless it were at a big event like X Games, it was most likely at his local stomping grounds, the Caracas trails.

GT Bicycles is excited to announce the addition of three new riders to the GT Freestyle BMX crew – Mason Ritter, Parker Heath, and Maty “Ratty Matty” Stockton. Pulled from a hot-bed of BMX talent in Pittsburg, PA, Mason embodies the best attributes of his hometown scene with a solid background of trail and park riding. Growing up watching the freestyle motocross video Crusty Demons of Dirt helped Mason develop his unique style of jumping tricks including a mix of tailwhips, heel clickers, and limbless variations. Mason continued to progress and refine his skills at the indoor BMX park, The Wheel Mill. After making waves all over the Northeast for the past few years, the industry really took notice of his stand out style and original combos at this year’s Toyota BMX Triple Challenge in Denver.
“My first exposure to Mason was earlier this year at the Toyota BMX Triple Challenge dirt jumping event in Denver, Colorado. The series attracts the best dirt jumpers with the most progressive tricks from around the world, and he immediately stood out from the pack,” said Jeff Zielinski, GT BMX Freestyle Team Manager.
San Diego native Parker Heath can be seen shredding all over and placing well in jams and contests including the Vans BMX Pro Cup series in Santiago, Chile, Mexico City, Mexico, and Huntington Beach, California. Affirmed by Team Manager Jeff Zielinski, “Whether it’s a contest, jam, or whatever, rest assured I’ve seen Parker Heath out there shredding. From the first time I saw Parker ride, I could already tell he had a bright future.” His well-rounded abilities to ride everything are really showcased in his latest
