What parts do you change most often?
Laura Smulders: Grips, Chain and tires, I like to keep them fresh!
Who are some of the people who hook you up with parts when you need them?
Laura Smulders: The guys at BMX24Seven, the people from Shimano and Renthal of course.
Do you care about the looks of your bike?
Laura Smulders: Yes! I like my bike to look new and clean! Does she have to be clean at all times before you hit the track?
Laura Smulders: In winter time it’s hard to keep it clean so I won’t clean it every time before I hit the track. But I definitely prefer a clean bike to ride with. Looks way more awesome!
What tire pressure do you run?
Laura Smulders: As high as the tire can handle. And probably a little more than that haha.
When it gets technical, who helps out with your bike?
Laura Smulders: My dad likes to work on my bike, so he will help me if I need it. But most of the time I like to do it myself.Any special reason for the colour combination of your bike?
Laura Smulders: This one doesn’t have that much color yet. But I like the non painted frames, with the little colored parts on them.
Does weight matter much to you?
Laura Smulders: Of course, the lighter the faster!
Thanks to: All the people that support me and the team! And of course the family and friends :)
