What parts do you change most often?
James Palmer: Drivetrain and grips definitely get changed more often than anything else for me.Who are some of the people who hook you up with parts when you need them?
James Palmer: The man Renny Husada always helps keep my bike dialled in with support from our teams Co-sponsors Tangent Products, Alienation BMX, Kenda tires, but also Aki Nakamura at Stealth always helps keep my bike rolling smooth.
Do you care about the looks of your bike?
James Palmer: Definitely care how my bike looks, even when it's got yellow school bus looking rims on it (haha)!
Does she have to be clean at all times before you hit the track?
James Palmer: Most definitely! For one, you never know who's going to be out snapping pictures at the track, but secondly I like to make sure it's clean before I hit the track to ensure everything is running in perfect condition.
What tire pressure do you run?
James Palmer: Rock hard 100psi
When it gets technical, who helps out with your bike?
James Palmer: I prefer to be the one to work on my bike mainly, but my dad has always been my number 1 mechanic behind the scenes. At the races we also have our Canadian National team mechanic Adam Muys looking after our bikes.
Any special reason for the colour combination of your bike?
James Palmer: Well I've currently got some funky yellow school bus looking rims on my bike from the previous years bike which was black and yellow, but no special reasoning for it other than the fact I am waiting on my new wheel set to be built.
Does weight matter much to you?
James Palmer: I do prefer a light bike, but I'm not one to choose certain products just to save weight.
