and experiencing the sport on an international level,” said Buchanan. “I am excited to join forces with Jayco to encourage young females in my sport,” said Buchanan. “When I was younger I was lucky to go to a World Championships. I gained significant knowledge and the experience helped me to focus on BMX and continue my dreams.”
“BMX Australia supports Caroline in her efforts to give back into the community of BMX,” said Barry Knight, BMX Australia President. “We think this positive move to assist young female riders will develop the next group of female athletes on the podium.”
The lucky recipients will also receive a Sony Action Cam to document their journey.
With the BMX National Championships fast approaching, recipients will need to apply by filling in an application form well in advance of the National Championships. Any Australian 14 or 15 year old female rider planning to compete and committed to racing at the World Championships will find the application form and further details coming here soon.
