The small print: All 2015 national series event criteria apply and the event will only be open to riders who are eligible to compete for Australia at the 2015 World Championships. If in the event of a tie at the end of the 3rd final then the count back process based on position from prior final applies.
The BMX Australia National series gets underway in Nerang next month, marking the start of what will be a bumper 2015 season. The series has been extended and will now be held over nine absorbing rounds on some of the best tracks in the country, and promises to be the best series to date.
An impressive 600 entries are expected for round one and two of the series in Nerang on January 2 and 3, with the field to feature elite riders from the United States, Japan and New Zealand. The foreign raiders will join Australia’s world number one Caroline Buchanan, South Australia’s Anthony Dean, Western Australia’s Lauren Reynolds and Gold Coast based Olympic contenders Bodi Turner and Melinda McLeod and a host of young local riders for the two-day event hosted by the Nerang BMX club.
