"These meetings represented the culmination of nearly two years of work by the USA Cycling staff and Board of Directors," said Steve Johnson, President and CEO of USA Cycling. "Based on the way the new committees have embraced their roles and responsibilities, it is clear that the new structure is going to be an incredibly effective vehicle for stakeholder input into our strategic planning process."
The USA Cycling Development Foundation also elected representatives to the USA Cycling Board of Directors at its semi-annual meeting last week:

-Matt Barger
-David Helfrich*

The following athlete representatives will continue to serve on the USA Cycling Board of Directors through 2012:
