BMX Australia is fully committed to the fight against doping in sport and has a major obligation to protect and maintain the integrity of BMX Racing as well as the health and well being of athletes. BMX Australia has adopted a revised Anti-Doping Policy that will come into effect on 1 January, 2015.
The BMX Australia Anti-Doping Policy is fully compliant with the World Anti-Doping Code 2015, and the obligations as established by the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority (ASADA) Act, Regulations and National Anti-Doping Scheme.
ASADA approved the Policy on December 3 and the Board adopted the policy on December 5.

For the first time, BMX Australia is offering the opportunity of a lifetime for six riders to compete at the 2015 Grand Nationals event in Tulsa. This incredible prize will include return economy flights to Tulsa Oklahoma, accommodation for five nights and entry into the 2015 Race of Champions (ROC) and Grand Nationals events. This fantastic offering by the Board of BMX Australia will be awarded to the male and female winner of each of the three classes (16yr, Jnr Elite & Elite) of the ‘Grands Challenge’ event to be held on the Sunday of the 2015 National Championships.
The thrilling Grands Challenge race will see the top eight Australian riders based on national series points for each class (16yr, Jnr Elite & Elite) as at the end of round 9 of the 2015 National Series, battle it out in a three final, final format, with the rider with top points at the end of the third final declared the winner.
