it's even better there. We'll start this off with the Let It Ride results that you've probably saw somewhere before, but you might have missed some of the other news that's in today's FAT Friday.

-DJ has a new Tattoo. He wanted a BMX tattoo and he wanted something with a microphone. He talked to Mark Webb's tattoo guy who came up with the chain coming out of the tattoo. You should also ask DJ for a business card next time you see him. Too funny.
-After the Kortrijk comp Sean Burns and Geoff Slattery joined Stew Johnson to go film for the Anthem 2 video. They're trying to stay in Europe for 6 weeks traveling from couch to couch. They'll try to make it to the World's too next month so catch up with them there.
-Talking about the world's, have you registered yet? If you want to ride, you have to register online. Do it now to avoid stressing about it when you show up because you won't be able to ride. It's not too hard to send an e-mail, is it? Hit this link for the right form. Holy smokes, just noticed that registration is already closed, but you can send an e-mail to: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to see if there is a spot left. The world's take place in three days and cannot handle 150 competitors in each class in dirt, park, vert, mini and flatland.
-Mike Vincent has arrived in China and is undergoing treatments and surgery. Leave a message for him HERE to show that the BMX community is behind him.
-"Big" Dave Harrison is still alive and waiting for people to send in their custom frame sizes over at FBM. Andy Zeiss did so and won't be riding a different frame for a long time. Get the top tube length you want, pick your drop out, your BB height, head tube angle, brake lugs (or no brake lugs) and dave will weld it up in the USA with 4130 CrMo. That is what we call "CUSTOM". The way it's set up is amazing. Go check it out for yourself. Not sure if he got some sort of special treatment but Andy's frame was done in less than a week.
-Mankind has a new website.
-Ben Hennon is off King Kong and receives support from Seventies now. Latest frame we saw him ride was a Federal.
-Among those Europeans who are going to Chicago to ride the Dew Tour (qualifier) are Alessandro Barbero (already in), Mark Webb, Maxime Charveron and Harry Main. It's going to be one heck of a qualifying event with so much talent in one place.
-The weekend after the IBMXFF World's in Cologne, Germany the BMX Playtime contest is taking place in Hasselt, Belgium. FATBMX will be there and like I said, I love Belgium so I'm looking forward to another good weekend there.
-We've been giving riders some coverage through the daily FAT Favourite posts. If you feel like you're being left out, answer the questions and add 3-4 pics and we'll get you on the site at some point. A few hundred days to go this year so it will be your turn too even if it's in December. FAT Favourites this week came from:
-Jason Enns
-Neil Keddie
-James Smith
-Tommy Lauque
-Jukka Maennena
-Chris Boehm
-Anthony Napolitan
Coming up are Jared Eberwein, Timo van Lierop, Josh Hult, Markus Reuss and we've got a few open spots for next week so get to work.
- Mark Vos is going to Denmark next month to ride the concrete park at the Roskilde Festival. You can also see Mark on a few pages in the latest RIDE UK mag. If you like to party, find Mark's new place on 27 June. It's his housewarming fiesta.
-You have to respect the people who work hard on getting a skatepark going in their own town. It's tougher than you think. It's lots easier to show up when it's done. But if you don't support it now, there might be nothing to ride. James Hamilton-Martin has asked for your support. Go HERE to sign the petition.
-Don't believe the Hype. In other FIT Bike Co news, the Stay FIT video is on schedule and will premier in Las Vegas around Interbike time. There will be two showings. One at 7pm for those who are not allowed to drink (the under 21-s in the USA), and one showing at 9pm for everyone who wants to get wasted. The House Of Blues is the venue and the night is sponsored by FIT, Lotek, Odyssey and RIDEBMX. 24 September 2009. Mark that date.
-Upcoming BMX events. If we are not there, can you make a report for us? That also goes for the Dew Tour events. We can probably score you a press pass if you can make us some sort of report. We love to cover it all but we cannot be at all places at the same time.
