Over the past decade, FISE has grown from a single event in Montpellier into a global series reaching across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and North America. Through strategic partnerships with leading international federations, FISE helped shape the global growth of urban sports, contributing to their inclusion in the Olympic Games.
Now, FISE is reigniting that momentum, with a renewed ambition to rebuild a true World Series that goes beyond its pre-pandemic heights. The series remains committed to open competitions, welcoming Pros Men & Women, Juniors and Amateurs.
In 2025, a new international cycle began, anchored by Macau, Montpellier, Shanghai, and Sakai. In an exclusive announcement made during the press conference, Hurricane revealed a brand-new Chinese stop: FISE Xperience Hangzhou, taking place September 5–7, 2025. Hosted in the scenic Zhejiang province near Shanghai, the event will feature BMX Flatland, Breaking, and a BMX Spine Ramp Contest, with additional disciplines potentially joining the lineup.
THE ROAD TO 2032: A STRUCTURED GLOBAL VISION
To bring this ambition to life, the FISE World Series will be structured around four complementary event formats:
FISE WORLD SERIES
ULTIMATE : International outdoor 5 days events in city center with 7+ Disciplines (FISE Montpellier, FISE Shanghai)
GRAVITY : International 2-4 days events in city center or indoor stadium with +3 Disciplines
FISE NATIONAL SERIES
XPERIENCE : National events series for up-and-coming talent and wider participation
SESSION : Local events and grassroots competitions, ideal for newcomers to the series
Each event contributes to a unified global ranking system, with winners crowned in each discipline for both Men and Women at the end of the season.
By 2032, Hurricane Group aims to host:
20 FISE World Series stops

Many urban sports disciplines blend street and freestyle elements. FISE’s new park design concept, the Fusion Park reflects this diversity, offering inclusive setups adaptable to all styles.
Innovation remains at the heart of FISE, with engaging new formats like the 1v1 Battle, introduced in Skateboarding and praised by athletes, judges, and fans for its intensity and dynamism. This format will soon expand to other disciplines.
To expand global reach, Hurricane continues to invest in its media strategy, including free YouTube livestreams and partnerships with local free-to-air broadcasters in key regions.
