Yesterday we tried to get in touch with Kevin Robinson for some answers regarding his World height record attempt later today in New York City. But Kevin shut off his phone, had the automatic reply set up for his e-mail and did media work from 6am till late at night. But we received this press release and will let you know where you can find his world record attempt live. Imagine being in his shoes right now. The world is watching. You can't fail. Let's hope the wind dies before he drops in. Good luck Kevin!

ESPN's 24 hour action sports destination, EXPN.com, and ESPN's signature broadband network, ESPN360.com, will collaborate with Red Bull to be the exclusive webcast provider for the next two Red Bull Experiments. The first will be held in New York's Central Park on Thursday, June 12, and the second at the Santa Monica Pier in early July.
"Our goal is to deliver the best in action sports to fans everywhere," said
Rick Alessandri, Managing Director, X Games Franchise.
"This collaboration with Red Bull reiterates our commitment towards making EXPN.com the definitive action sports destination on the web."
In the heart of New York City on Thursday, June 12 live at 8 p.m. ET, BMX legend
Kevin Robinson will attempt to soar into the world record books by clearing the height of a six-story building on a BMX bike. The winner of seven X Games medals, including three gold, Robinson will make his attempt on a first of its kind 27-foot super quarter-pipe with a 60- foot high roll in. The current record of 26 ½ feet is held by BMX pioneer
Mat Hoffman. Hoffman first set the record in 1992 by being towed into a 21-foot-high ramp and aired 23 feet above the ramp - putting him 44 feet above the ground. Hoffman has since improved on that record several times where the current mark stands at 26 ½ feet above a 24-foot ramp.
"I've always been attracted to big ramps," says
Robinson, 36, who won gold last year in the Big Air competition at X Games. Robinson's dedicating the attempt to
Hoffman, the godfather of BMX stunt jumping.
"I'm keeping it in the family," he says. Robinson has been sponsored by Hoffman Bikes for 15 years.
