The fact that we do these FAT-Fridays on Fridays means that is has already been a week since the Mini-FAT-JAM took place. Boy were we lucky with the weather but you get what you deserve....haha. The turnout was great and yes it was possible to ride in a T-shirt. If your name is Mark Vos, you could even ride without a T-shirt. Just think about it, it was snowing at the beginning of the week....damn! The party at OJA would still have been a good one even if the day was a rain-out. The Electronical premiere was good. We had lots of BMX-ers cing it out. The bands that followed got the party started and the classic songs (including the Dire Straits) finished off the evening on a good note for everyone who did not have to drive home (all the drunks on the dance-floor). Days like these make you realize why we do what we do. Good times.
This weekend will be busy too. Today we're going to cruise by
the first MX GP which is on the way to
Peter Geys' new shop:
The 900. The opening is at 8pm in Eksel, Belgium and we're trying to get there at some point. On Saturday Philip, Timo and I are driving up to Cologne for the Rookie Jam. I haven't entered a contest in ages and it will be Philip's first contest and I believe my nephew Timo's as well. On Sunday it's off again to the first Motocross Grand Prix of 2008 in nearby Valkenswaard. Staying busy? Sure am.

-Riders who wish to shave some more weight off their bikes will be happy with the new plastic seatpost-seat combo from
Fly and Éclat. KHE released one a few months ago and people were discussing the lack of adjustability of the seat angle but with the seat so low an no one using it to actually sit on, it doesn't seem to mather all that much if the seat is in a 25 degree angle or 30 degree.

Shaun Scarfe he is coming back to NASS but isn't staying in the caravan this time. Will the Braun Spine title be his this year?
