T-Mobiles Local Support Dirt Challenge hosted at the Abflughalle Grevenbroich witnessed heavy competition by athletes fighting for the last chance to earn one of the three remaining slots for the main event. In BMX Dirt Jump, the jury was stunned by Benny Paulsen's, Mike Buse's and Aze Etzold's abilities. They are now ready to challenge the worlds finest pros.

T-Mobiles Dirt Session also cares about the sports new breed. Therefore a T-Mobile BMX Wildcard was given away to the best non-pro newcomer in BMX. Christoph Deeg won his free ride in BMX Dirt Jump. Last minute qualifiers and wildcard winners are happy about the chance of a lifetime. As an extra bonus costs of travel and accommodation is covered by the sponsors of T-Mobile Extreme Playgrounds.

After adding these eight names to the riders list of the Dirt Session is now complete. Ten top seated international stars of the BMX scene have already been confirmed before. BMX Dirt Jump is starring world champion Great Britain's Kye Forte, fellow UK-stars Ben Wallace and Ben Hennon, challenger Ryan Nyquist from the USA, Australia's Ryan Guettler, Columbia's Alejandro Caro, Romuald Noirot and Patrick Guimez flying the French flag and the Germany's big names Tobias Wicke and Markus Hampl.

Unbelievable moves and exciting entertainment – that’s what the Dirt Session on April 20th at the Kraftzentrale of Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord is all about. The one of a kind event not only features the world best riders in BMX and MTB. It also presents some of pop and rock musics hottest bands offering fully fledged live performances. Londons Brit-Pop-Hope Jack Peñate, Swedens Skate-Punk legends Millencolin and Germanys finest, Headliner Sportfreunde Stiller will rock riders und thousands of die hard actionsports fans.

After a more than successful first season in 2007, T-Mobile Extreme Playgrounds combines sports and music again in 2008 in what is nothing less than a very special and unique extravaganza of exciting competitions and entertainment. Throughout 2008 three events will feature the top athletes of international action sports in grand slam style tournaments. Hot and acclaimed bands rock acts add genuine rock festival flavour to this not to miss action sport highlight. The event series is organized by Nice Productions GmbH Hamburg and were founded by Andy Zeiss (rebeljam), Achim Kujawski (BMX-Pro), Ralf Middendorf (former Skateboard-Pro, Monster Mastership) and Lars-Oliver Vogt. Three action sport gurus joining forces with Germanys coolest Festival expert resulted in three mega events – put together by insiders and embraced by the action sports audience. Last years musical line-up included take-no-prisoners-acts The Hives, Good Charlotte, Boysetsfire, Donots and Bullet For My Valentine.

Tickets for the price of 19 Euro including service charges are available at all major box offices. The specially priced “Five-Friends-Ticket” (buy 4, get the 5th ticket for free) sells for only 76 Euro including service charges. All tickets allow the use of public transportation to and back from the venue on the day of the event run by the VRR (DB Railway second class fair).
