Last year's Simple Session webcast reached a record breaking 500 000 viewers in around 100 countries.
Aside from being one of the most anticipated top BMX-contests, Simple Session will again be a part of World Cup Skateboarding World Tour.
Simple Session is happy to welcome back two-time Simple Session gold-medalist Drew Bezanson (CAN) and two-time silver Brett "Maddog" Banasiewicz (USA). Also, Simple Session 09 and last year's silver (after winner Ryan Sheckler) Axel Cruysuberghs (BEL), the legendary French skateboarder Bastien Salabazi and many other impressive skaters will take turns on the course, putting on an amazing competition. Almost entire Etnies, Vans, Red Bull and Nike BMX teams will be shredding the course of Simple Session, among a total of 180 riders from 33 countries.
The event is hosted by the devoted announcers Zack "Catfish" Yankush and Dave "Double D" Duncan, and as new addition to Simple Session – Darryl Nau. The brand new and impressive Simple Session 12 skatepark is again designed by the well known and acclaimed park designer Nate Wessel, the author of many Simple Session courses through the years. Later this spring, Simple Session will for the first time be covered with two half-hour shows on Europe's largest sports channels Eurosport 2.
The event holds the following competitions: BMX pro street/park jam contest, Sister Session girls BMX contest (for the first time!), skateboarding pro street/park jam contest, VANS Skate Best Trick contest, Red Bull Bunnyhop contest and BMX Street Best Trick. Simple Session 12 prize purse is 13,000 euros.
The webcast will be top notch, that's for sure. But nothing beats the real experience of the Simple Session atmosphere. Event passes can still be purchased through Piletilevi and Tiketti Online.
