Silversmith Dave Curoe from Canada sent in a message that he's been working on some BMX jewelry. Worth a post? depends on if you're into this or not. Bling Bling! Here's a description from Dave:
I was thinking about how BMX seems to have returned (but really never left us) and I remembered back in '82 when I was about 13 and rocked the Diamondback Viper with the five spoke rims. Here's a tribute to those days...
This pendant is one of the coolest things I have cast recently. Produced with the lost wax method from 0.925 sterling silver, the one shown is actually a prototype which features a hand sewn "D" fixed in the center of the hub (which can be removed if you would like, no problem). It has great texture with the high polished edges and fully detailed tread pattern, as well as the matte finish on the lower surfaces of the spokes.
Each of these is individually made for now and require about 2-3 weeks to make. The price is for both the pendant and chain but if you would only like the pendant, the price is $170, convo me and I'll make another listing for you.

This rad pendant is produced with the lost wax method from 0.925 sterling silver. It features great details including the grooves in the grips as well as the single brake on the right.
Each of these is individually made for now and require about 2-3 weeks to make. The price is for both the pendant and chain but if you would only like the pendant, the price is $72, convo me and I'll make another listing for you.
