5th Rookie Jam at Cologne bike & skatepark!

Saturday, the 27th of March, the Rookie Jam 2010 will take place for the fifth time at the AbenteuerHallenKALK in Cologne. Young talented BMX-Riders with less contest-experience will receive the chance to get on their bikes to proof their skills in front of an audience in a nice and chilled atmosphere. Like in the last two years the oldschool guys take part as well in the E.T.-class. At the Rookie Jam it’s not important if you are four or maybe 40 years old, the contest with its three classes: Rookies, Amateurs and E.T.- Class gives everybody the chance to run a riot on his bike.

Whether it’s about Tailwhips, 360’s and flairs of the younger participants or about the oldschool-style of the E.T.-generation, in the streetarea of the AbenteuerHallenKALK with more than 1000 square meters are no limits set.

To guarantee perfect contest-conditions, there won’t be a registration on ground. Riders can register online with an online-form on our website: www.rookie-jam.de or directly at the AbenteuerHallenKALK. Deadline for registration is the 25th of March 2010

The start fee is about 5 Euros.

Visitors have free entrance. Doors open and practice at 10:00 am The contest will start at 1:00 pm

The classes are divided as you can see below: Rookies: up to 12 years Amateurs: from 13 years (but younger) E.T.-class: from 30 years

ATTENTION: All attendants have to sign a disclaimer. Riders who are under 18 years old have to sign the disclaimer by their parents.

New obstacle! Traditionally every participant of the Rookie Jam got a cool shirt so far. But this year we will abandon this tradition, cause we want to support the cologne locals and the bike & skatepark with a brand new obstacle. The 5 Euros starter fee will directly run into this project.

Therefore our special thank goes to our partners: BK – British Knights, Felt Bikes, Mongoose, Big Boy Bikes, Dickies, KHEbikes, Skullcandy and Stereo Bikes. Also you will have the possibility to win a lot of massive prizes.
