It was a busy week once again in BMX. Strange actually as we're in the middle of winter and not much outdoor activity is going on. At least not by this guy. The other day I saw people ride the pump track at -6 degrees and even the snow that we got this week didn't stop them. Hungry for sure. But of course we're waiting for the sun, longer daylight and a decent temperature so we can bring the radio to the trails instead of the extra winter jacket. That time will come but it can't come soon enough. Back to the topic: BMX news. Plenty of it here:

-Sunday's Jim Cielencki started his own distribution company in Austin called "Full Factory". They'll also be distribution the Proper Bike Co. brand for the USA.

-Brasilian Mail Order Company BMX US CO has a new website up: www.bmxusco.com

-The next big contest on the schedule is the Simpel Session in Tallinn. We checked in with organizer Risto Kalmre. Read how he feels about the event that put Estonia on the BMX map.

-The Augie Simoncini interview that Ed Pollio sent in is back up. There was a bit of confusion with his GroupHomeBikes partner at the start but it got posted back up again after everything was cleared. Don't want to be known as content stealer. -No doubt about it that the clip of the week award goes to Mark Webb. The Germans were hating it because Sony blocked the clip in their country because of some music rights, but everyone else got to enjoy the new bangers from the Brit. Check here.

-The FATBMX Workshop Wednesday went to Dave Osato, who, in fact, welded up the stand for the Olympic Torch of the 2012 Winter Games in Vancouver. Hope you liked Episode 4 of this weekly feature.

-It's crazy to see where some of our BMX family ends up working. Art Thomason for instance works at NASA.
