What can we say about Tom van den Bogaard that hasn't already been said? He's our local hero representing Aarle-Rixtel at BMX events all around the world. 2020 has been slow on events but Tom keeps himself busy. Tom likes to ride new spots and it's always a pleasure for the eye to see Tom rip it up. Here's his Last Call... Q&A, to see what he has been up to lately.

It's hard to find a more motivated rider than Jean-William Prevost. Flatland riders in general are the ones putting in the most time on their bike. Riding has become their religion and the urge to go to church (their flatland spot) is there constantly. The creative mind is used to come up with tricks that have never been done before that fits their style. Dub is a master in it. Last call for Dub right here......

Jean-William Prevost:  I went to Florida and came right back around mid-March when things were getting out of whack.

Some riders can simply do it all. They're good at anything without trying, or at least it looks like it comes naturally to them. Dennis Enarson is one, but the Australian version is Boyd Hilder for certain. Boyd Hilder: 2000 Hiace 3 years ago for 3 grand. Still so stoked on it.

Last music concert you went to?

PAULTJE PILS. We've almost taken on Paul Thoelen as a Dutchman. He's here way too often to be considered 100% German. In fact, when he's home, he lives half an hour from the border and boy-o-boy we would love for him to join the Dutch family. But BMX family is close enough to continue with the good times with Paul, his brother Max and his parents. Paul is that rider that goes higher than 95% of the riders at the contest and makes everything look good. A pleasure to watch. Last call for alcohol? Don't forget to mention that to Paultje Pils.

Paul Thoelen: I actually had a full week of training last week haha. Usually I’m not really into gyms.

There are riders out there that can't be stopped. They're the first to start riding and the last to get off the ramps. Irek Rizaev is one of those riders. For Irek this pandemic is hard to deal with. Irek Rizaev: It was 27th of June, but it was small local and only for 15 riders. Because of the pandemic. The last big one was Simple Session.

Irek Rizaev: It was this contest I won at the opening of a big extreme park at my home city.
