Ryan Mills is a name that keeps on popping up lately. The Premium rider recenly had a multiple page interview in BMX PLUS! but in case you missed that, we asked the Las Vegas local some questions. When you're quitting school and pack your bags to move to a scene that is happening, you must be pretty dedicated. Australian Matt Fairbairn made the move to Europe because he wanted to ride vert with more people and wanted to visit more events with his bike. We sat down with Matt and found out what makes him tick. FATBMX: All the regular stuff please Matt? Matt Fairbairn: I'm 29 years old and I'm from Newcastle, Australia. I've been riding for 18 years, a long time, a lot of that was racing. My sponsors are Volume, Demolition, Armour-dillo, Etnies and SpinLikeHell. You're over here in Europe for a while now, how does that work out with your sponsors?

Barry Kohne is one of those riders who lives BMX. Besides being one of the talents that Holland has to offer, Barry works in a bike shop, started organizing contests and is working on a clothing company. Being a BMX-er also means taking risks. Barry is currently out with a messed up ankle. We asked him some questions for an article on FATBMX. How's your ankle and what happened exactly? My ankle is getting better. Despite the fact I have to chill and can’t ride for the coming 4 to 6 weeks. I have got a cast now so I'm kind of immobile and that sucks! It happened at the first round of the XLseries in Heerlen....the first contest I organized. I did this handplant transfer from quarter to quarter, but it didn't work out that good. I slid out and twisted my ankle resulting in a broken calve and some torn ligaments.

George Dossantos is a killer street rider from Northern New Jersey. As a BMX-er yourself you might be aware of that. What you might not know is that George is a killer bass player too. He's in the "Words Away" band. We fired over some band/BMX related questions. When you're done reading that, you can listen to a few songs of the band and watch their video of the song Move On. What is your occupation at the moment?

Stefan Geisler is doing flatland shows on his HARO flatland bike as you read this. That might come as a surprise to you but Stefan started off riding flatland, then learnt flips, truckdrivers and tailwhips on street before he moved on to the big vert ramp. That's where his love is at the moment. Stefan travels around to ride as much vert as possible. Sometimes that means he's taking a plane to England to go ride with Simon Tabron. Other times it's driving up north to Achim Kujawski's indoor RedBull ramp but in the wintertime OBG can be found at Woodward camp so he can continue to ride. The UK breeds a lot of good riders. One of them is Anthony Pill, member of the European HARO team since the beginning. Although he's not afraid for adventure and travels a lot, his airmiles account has zero miles on it. Pill simply can't be bothered. What does he care about? What is your most embarrassing CD on the shelf? I'm not embarrassed about any of them. Are you a daredevil? It depends what sort of mood I'm in; sometimes I can be a bit scared to do things, but other times I can be a total psycho.

A few pro BMX-ers have been running their own personal website for a few years. They get uploaded on a regular basis with race reports, news and....bitching at one another. We decided to ask Derek Betcher, Todd Lyons, Dale Holmes, Greg Romero and Robbie Miranda a few questions about their site. The first one to reply was Robbie Miranda of www.robbiemiranda.com.
