On the fifth and the sixth day we had the pleasure to visit our dear neighbours in Denmark. Another time we got welcomed by a lot of sunshine and were about to expect a crazy long weekend in the young and attractive BMX- and Hippie city. On the arrival day after the FlensBMX weekend we needed to take the rest of the afternoon pretty easy and
Woozy, X, Ty, Bruno, Timur, Markus and
Paddy got familiar with potential street spots. But actually
Niels Thanhild, the Danish Vans BMX team manager, was our spot guide and about to

introduce us to the real good spots on the next Monday. Plans worked out perfectly and we decided to see the art- and hippie part of the city called Christiania. We used the first hours of the hot Monday to stay indoor: of course at Christiania’s well known bowl. But the session didn’t only take place indoor, rather outdoor on the self-made concrete spot. Thanks t

o
Albert and Niels for making this possible!
After a little snack we went to a school with a playground a bit out of town. It turned out not only being a playground for the little kids…The big round gum egg looking like bumps on the ground could be used as jump boxes or rather like a dirtline out of gum though! Whatev

er- fotos will tell more than words…
Paddy- you street tiger! The day was one of the best on tour so far and ended with a vegetarian buffet. Well, beer is kind of vegetarian as well…The next day we hit the road after check out to check in to Malmö, Sweden. More about those
Astrid Lindgren like updates will follow the next days.

Upcoming weekend we’ll have another rad bowl to shred in Kortrijk, Belgium- on the 6.6. we’ll hopefully see you taking part in the open “Let it ride” Bowl Jam!
